I’m quite upset to say that I have decided to cancel my Inktober series for this year. This was my second attempt at doing Inktober, and I failed. Although I failed the challenge, it was fun writing down a storyline with the prompt I used and learning as I went along. It even helped me find ways to speed up my art process.

In my Youtube channel, the speedpaint videos for Inktober 2023 will be unlisted on the last day of October, but you can still check them out on the “Inktober 2023” playlist on my YouTube channel. Days 5 and 6 (bounce and spicy) were completed, so I’m posting them today (including the illustrations).

Hi, I'm Julius Cartoonist! How’s your day going? This post is about my thoughts about Week 1 of Inktober 2023, and boy, it was rough.

As you may have noticed, I stopped on Day 4. What happened? Well, I got food poisoning on my birthday and decided to put a pause on Inktober until I got better.

As of this post, I’m finishing the sketch for Day 5 (Bounce) and have decided to create 25 projects for Inktober so I don’t have to recreate a new project after the last one. I’ll also be working on a few side things, so stay tuned for that.
